Through Birth and Beyond Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Through Birth and Beyond, we recognize that circumstances may change, and we strive to provide a transparent and equitable cancellation and refund policy to accommodate your needs. Please take a moment to review the following policy to understand the terms and conditions regarding bookings, cancellations, and refunds for our services.

Payment and Booking

Courses offered by Through Birth and Beyond are either paid for in full at the time of booking or a payment plan is set up as agreed upon. This arrangement constitutes a binding contract, and all payments must be made within the timeframe specified at the time of booking. Upon receipt of your payment or establishment of the payment plan, we will send you a confirmation email. By making payment or establishing the payment plan and receiving confirmation, you enter into a contract as a Through Birth and Beyond client.

1. Cancellation by the Client

1.1 Standard Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking for our services, please adhere to the following conditions:

  • Cancellation requests must include your full name, booking/order number, and a clear statement of your intention to cancel.

1.2 Timing of Cancellation

a) For Antenatal and Postnatal Classes:

If you wish to cancel your enrolment in any of our Hypnobirthing and Antenatal Courses, Postnatal and Baby Care Courses, or any other course, the timing of your cancellation affects refund eligibility as follows:

If you cancel less than four weeks (28 days) before the course start date, no refund will be issued. However, in exceptional circumstances, a full refund may be provided upon request.

b) Ad Hoc Classes:

Tickets for one-off classes/workshops are non-refundable. In the rare event that the course venue must change, no refunds will be offered, provided the new location is within 5 miles of the original venue. In exceptional situations, where we need to cancel your booking, a full refund will be provided.

2. Cancellation by Through Birth and Beyond

2.1 Course Cancellation

In the unlikely event that Through Birth and Beyond needs to cancel a course, every effort will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, or if alternative dates cannot be agreed upon, a full refund of the total fee will be issued. In exceptional circumstances necessitating cancellation, we may offer alternative arrangements, such as conducting the course via video link or online.

We require a minimum number of participants to conduct our courses. If these numbers are not met, Through Birth and Beyond reserves the right to cancel the course and provide a full refund. The minimum required attendance is three couples, with a maximum of ten couples.

2.2 Individual Session Cancellation

If an individual session within a course is cancelled by Through Birth and Beyond, every effort will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling in person is not feasible, arrangements may be made for sessions via live or pre-recorded video.

3. Rescheduling Sessions

In the event that Through Birth and Beyond needs to reschedule a session, every effort will be made to provide advance notice. In cases of venue change, where the new location is within 5 miles of the original venue, no refunds will be offered. Alternatively, an alternative date may be offered on a later course, subject to availability.

For participants enrolled in private one-to-one courses, a minimum notice period of 36 hours must be provided to reschedule appointment dates or times. Failure to provide this notice will result in a reschedule fee of £50.

5. General Terms & Conditions

Upon booking our services, you agree to the following:

  • Participants acknowledge that Through Birth and Beyond is dedicated to providing education and support during the maternal, antenatal, and postnatal stages. Our instructors are not medically trained professionals, and our services are not intended to replace medical advice. We advise consulting with qualified healthcare professionals for personalized medical guidance.

  • Through Birth and Beyond is committed to maintaining confidentiality. However, we may cooperate fully with relevant authorities in situations posing risks to individuals' safety and well-being.
